Perangsang Selangor built one more futsal court at Kampung Batu 7, Jalan Kebun, Section 30, Shah Alam at a total cost of RM80,000 as part of the company's corporate social responsibility..
The futsal court was officially launched by Selangor state exco for Malay customs, youth and sports Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi and attended by MBSA council member Norhalim Sirom, Klang Municipal Council member Azmi Jusoh, over 1,000 youth and local residents.
Among the activities at the launch was a free replacement of motorcycle engine oil by students from inspens, dental check, traditional Malay self-defence demonstration and religious talk by Imam Muda Muhammad Asyraf Mohd Ridzuan.
"In conjuntion with the launch 32 teams participated in the futsal matches and winning teams were given cash prizes. Spotlights were also installed at the court to enable youth and teenagers to play there at night," said Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad's head of public relations and media Amin Abdullah.
"MBSA will be operation and maintaining the futsal court with no rental charges. However, the court will only be opened at specific time on weekdays and weekends," said Amin.
